“Setup did not find any hard disk drives” during Windows XP Installation

Today I am sharing a old sampan to you ! Yes this is old but if you don’t know the tips you got problem. I had collected this document earlier as I had fetched a problem to install windows xp on my laptop. I have HP Compaq series laptop. I was needed to give new xp to my laptop. But while I had tried to install the XP cd on my laptop, it said that my laptop has no hard disk (hdd). Then I searched for “Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer” and found the following document file . After reading the post I have found that this error happens because your new computer has a storage controller that isn’t supported natively in XP, usually an SATA (Serial ATA) controller. It suggest to know use a software called nLite to create a new XP install cd, so you’ll first need to download and install it.
